George W Bush and the 14 points of fascism - Project for the OLD American Century

This isn't a news story - it is just typical leftist Anti-Americanisn, which isn't a news story,either.

I am strongly opposed to the Bush government and the direction this country is headed, but I find articles like this to be somewhat manipulative. It does not define "fascism", so enumerating common characteristics of "fascist" states and showing that they apply to our government does not actually prove anything. Maybe this government does indeed have these fourteen characteristics, but as I said, showing that two things have certain points in common does not really prove much. It is manipulative in that it attempts to evoke our connotations for concepts like "fascism" even though it has not provided any new information.
